The priority intervention area of Silviestrela, Ltd. covers seven Municipalities: Guarda, Beira Celorico, Trancoso, Pinhel, Almeida, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo and Sambucus, the District Ranger.
These counties represent an area of 368,036 hectares of which 123,090 hectares are occupied by forest and 34,825 hectares correspond to farming areas, some of which are marginal areas likely to be forested.
